Review For BoyHood dvd

Extraordinary film
I really loved this film. If you are looking for a conventional Hollywood film, look elsewhere. This movie does not contain contrived storylines or a plot that will keep you on the edge of your seat. What it does contain is genuine, authentic moments and wonderful performances from a cast that reunited every summer for two weeks over the course of 12 years to create an absolute masterpiece. There wasn't a single defining moment in this film, but taken as a whole, watching this film was an incredible experience, and when it was over and the credits rolled, I must have cried for about 20 minutes, and I could not explain why.
