Excellent Wimsey
Lord Peter Wimsey is from a time long gone, he I a very posh gentleman detective, but one who is able in all sorts of ways. He is cerebral but also able to take care of himself when threatened with violence. His valet, Mervyn Bunter is his former batman from WWI and although key element of the master servant relationship are observed, when it comes to Bunter’s contributions to investigations Wimsey treats him as a colleague and equal.
