In conjunction with the illustrations, the authors have detailed the clinical parameters for each entry discussed. Individual chapters cover diseases of the pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands and the exocrine and endocrine pancras, multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome, and endocrine organ manifestations of HIV/AIDS High quality color photographs illuminate the gross pathologic, histomorphologic, histochemical, and immunocytochemical features of endocrine diseases. A consistent organization for the discussion of each disease makes reference easy, providing clinical and radiographic parameters, pathologic features, differential diagnosis, tratment, prognosis, and additional clinically relevant facts.
