NotesHamilton (Original Broadway Cast Recording) 2015 two CD set. The original Broadway cast album of Hamilton, a fusion of hip-hop and pop-driven musical theater, is now available from Atlantic Records. Cast members from the blockbuster new musical Hamilton, which recently opened to widespread critical acclaim at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, began recording their parts for this release in August of this year. This two-disc album was produced by Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson and Tariq "Black Thought" Trotter, founding members of the Grammy-winning hip-hop band, The Roots.

Love this musical!
If you don't love a good story about one of the founding fathers what is wrong with you? Darn it you need to listen to this cd. It will wake up your inner patriotism and make you appreciate all the blood, sweat and tears that were spilled for you, yes you!!!! Then after you are done loving this musical you can read the book which is amazing too by the way. This cd will grab your heart and make you an instant fan. If you do love history, well there is a little fudging here and there for the sake of a good musical flow but like I said read the book too and you will appreciate it even more. You say, "What? A rap musical set at the founding of our country sounds strange? All you have to do is listen and you will be hooked. It has an amazing mix of the old and the new. New CD with replaced shrinkwrap
It's definitely a brand new cd but the original shrinkwrap, edge label and holographic seal have been removed and replaced with aftermarket shrinkwrap. I know, I ran a cd store. The cd and all printed stuff are pristine and smell of new ink. CD sounds perfect. Good price/delivery.

True to the Show
I saw the play and loved it. Listening to this recording had me reliving the show again. In addition all the lyrics are included in the booklet so you can follow along if the rap is too fast to comprehend. The music is great from the first to last song. This will not 'cure' your addiction to Hamilton and the brilliant artistry and Genius of Lin-Manuel Miranda. But it is an Excellent option to having a Seaon Ticket to Hamilton. Good way to learn the lyrics
If you plan to see a live performance of this play, listening to the cast recording is a good way to learn the lyrics before you see it. Good Seller
Hamilton is a really good soundtrack. I watched parts of the show and listened to the soundtrack and knew I had to have it. The music blends in education with rap, jazz and catchy theater tunes. A nice variety that provokes the imagination, thought and makes you want to sing along. I bought this one for my collection so it will stay sealed, but it came quickly and looks as if it is still manufactory sealed. I received it in good time and in excellent condition. The case was cracked but I already knew that, the discs and books inside were in perfect condition! Can I tell you how I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this musical!
