Complete!
This is the best and most complete cookbook. I was about to say "basic", but there is nothing "basic" about the Brandied Wild Rice, Corn Bread, and Chestnut Stuffing (p.749) that my family adores. I guess I would say "basic" in the sense that because it was written in 1975, you won't find Instant Pot recipes in there, and not everything is made with cilantro. There are diagrams of where different cuts of meat come from, and how to carve them, and vegetable seasoning charts. Sure, you can look it up on the internet, but this book has things you didn't know you wanted to look up.
