Good old fashioned ancient warfare with the Gods interfering.
This film is a bit of a throwback to the days of Gods and ancient history intermingling. Also thrown in is the really bad, bad guy. Lots of spectacle and battling with a bloody final showdown between the two protagonists. The character playing the soothsaying prophetess was not even remotely believable; but, then, what was there in this movie to be believed?
