Excellent film and story. I enjoyed Paul Newman's portrayal of the legendary character from the wild western days.

The movie is definitely all about Judge Roy Bean!
It is a good Western movie from the seventies. The main attraction of the movie for me is a young and clearly unrecognizable Victoria Principal!

Another great, but little known, movie by John Huston that sits well with his other films.
I like the characters and I like the tall tale aspects of the story. These were larger than life characters that should have been your neighbors.
