Great style but quality is ???
I bought this stereo set because I wanted to add a radio to my center console boat without taking up a lot of console space. I like the idea of the "gauge" sized radio and this fit the ticket. Plus, since it included speakers and even an antenna, it was an even more attractive package. On the positive side, installation was relatively easy (I say "relatively" because I had to drill the holes for both the radio and speakers) and sound quality, once operating, was acceptable. It also looks good and takes up a minimum of space. On the negative side, the first time I went out on the water and the sun hit it, it developed moisture inside the glass. Mind you, it has NEVER been hit with water; not a hose, rain, anything. The console on my boat is covered 100% of the time when it's not in use. Another thing that is a bit disappointing is that it does not have an internal battery for radio preset storage; it must be wired directly to the battery. My boat, as with others, doesn't have any live circuits at the helm once the battery switch is turned off and I didn't want to have to run a wire back to the battery and have it "hot" at all times, so I'll just deal with this inconvenience of having to search for stations and preset them every time I go out. Lastly, I'm a bit confused about the purpose of the USB connection. The wiring diagram states, "FOR CHARGING ONLY: Cell Phone and iPod Media Playback Not Supported" but yet the Operation Quick Start Guide section "G - USB Operation" has directions for playing music via it. Does that mean that I can insert a thumb drive with music and it will play?? I guess one day I'll give it a try.

Good and some bad
Love the sound from the speakers and the functionality of the stereo. Very surprised with how good the speakers sound. Very good mid range and low sounds. On the negative side, like a lot of reviews have stated, the glass fogs up rather easily. I won’t keep this stereo for this reason alone. Had I read the reviews prior to purchase, this would have deterred me. Also the buttons are a bit hard to press. Otherwise, great stereo and speakers. Can’t really complain for $100 though. Wish I could figure out a way to get rid of the moisture.

Sound great! LED lights, not so great.
Installed everything and it sounded great, but the LED lights were stuck on green. I called and told them the problem and they sent another remote,but that was no help. I assume that the problem is the module that controls the LED lights. I would buy another pair of these because they sound good, but I would buy them without the LED lights.

You get what you pay for.
The radio was advertised as refurbished. After install it worked fine for 10 min. then fades to a low volume and eventually no volume. Once off and cool it will work for another 10 min. The unit was defective and other reviews show it is common. It's not worth my time to uninstall leaving holes inu boat to return. I'm just going to buy a better quality unit to replace. Don't waste your time or money with this model.

Boss radio speaker combo, used on boat
We received and installed in our boat, the sound is amazing, it is clear, the blue tooth and radio functions work perfectly. Excellent product for the price. Would recommend to anyone
