AWESOME MOB COLLECTION!
Always a fan of mob movies! Pacino is my favorite mobster. Great wintertime stay home on the weekends series. Bluray restoration is great. With the cost of cable TV, at some point, I want to have a good selection of movies on hand when I can no longer afford it!

One of the best movies ever made!
Always enjoyed this great movie. I just upgraded to Blu Ray for a better viewing experience. The actors were well chosen for the movie and Marlon Brando was superb as always.

Classic Godfather Trilogy
All three Godfather films, lovingly restored, including all extras found on the original individual disks, in one compact collection. And at a great price! What else is there to say? Cinematographer Gordon Willis's work is at its best in this restoration, which allows us to see into the shadows and enjoy the contrast between dark and light (literally and metaphorically). Great American film, in a great restoration, for a great price!

Greatest Movie Ever!
Has to be one, if not the best, movies of all time! The acting is marvelous and the story is phenomenal! I LOVE IT!!!

Cinematic Perfection
Two of the greatest films ever made — and one that's not as bad as its tarnished reputation. You might feel a little intimidated approaching The Godfather and The Godfather Part II. Don't, because at the end of the day, they're family dramas where the family is in a fairly unusual business. Make some lasagna, pour a little red wine, and have your cannolis at the ready. I promise you, you'll love these films.

great deal
they broke the mold when they made this film. a stone-cold masterpiece. a/b'd the blu-ray with the original dvd and the quality is clearer and more vibrant on the blu-ray, even when taking into consideration that it was filmed nearly 50 years ago.

Bringing a classic movie back.
The quality of the restoration is excellent. The movie itself is very interesting and the characters are portrayed well by the cast. I enjoyed the entire 3 parts and couldn't stop watching.

blu-ray cannot perform miracles
As my two favorite films, this review applies only to the Blu-Ray conversion, not the films themselves. I was hoping for the same night-and-day difference that I saw on the original vs. Blu-Ray "Scarface", but realize that perhaps The Godfathers are perhaps a little too old to upgrade with the same dramatic results. Nevertheless, well worth the money, as the originals appear very grainy on the big screen, and Blu-Ray cleans them up considerably.
