No dummy after read.
A great read to give one an overall concept of the ancient texts called The Bible. I bought an extra copy for our bible study teacher. Great to loan out to christian newbees. Section relate to specific areas of the bible to continue your study. Note: I am a fan of the Dummies book series. Great for new believers!!
This book is a must for anyone new to their faith. The Bible can be a hard book to get through and this book really does a good job of explaining things and putting them into context as to what the words meant when they were written as well as what they mean to us now. I love the tidbits of history and trivia thrown in the mix too. Hilariously interesting
I am enjoying reading this. I’ve read the Bible; l’ve had Bible study courses; taken University courses; but this is up there with the best, with it’s hilarious take on the Bible. Concise, Useful, Interesting

I'm unfamiliar with the Bible. I have been watching "Near Death Experiences" (NDE) on uTube. I have found the stories interesting and inspiring. Having read it yet but glanced through it.
