If you need a countertop oven, it's pretty good
It is a great countertop oven for the price, but the temps for all cycles in this unit run a bit high and you have to compensate. You have to have space to fully open the doors, or they might shut on your arm/hand when you are managing the oven's contents and that might hurt a bit. It will make toast, but unlike smaller toaster ovens - the size of this one makes it a bit inefficient at doing it. One of my most impoimportant investments...
My purchase of OSTER® DIGITAL FRENCH DOOR OVEN TSSTTVFDDG is one of the greatest gifts to myself. And I am glad that I had made this purchase. My brand new Oster Digital French Door Oven has become one of the greatest investments that I have purchased for myself in a long time. I enjoy, exploring and being creative with new dishes not to mention that I have a new perspective and a creativity to just making toast from French bread, sourdough to Zucchini bread with cheese, lobster to baked fretatas variations as a meal...I am truly enjoying the fact that I do not have to use my oven range to explore and express my new found affinity for gourmet cooking and baking. While having the options of using my Range oven together or just using my OSTER Digital French Door Oven which have given me a new found appreciation of being healthier when I now cook, bake or just warmup food. Therefore causing me to loose a little weight by reducing the added and un-needed oils etc just to make my dishes more palatable and appealing. The Best Turbo Oven I've Ever Owned :-)
The Oster French Door Convention Oven is my 2nd countertop in over seven years of usage. How I wish I had this one all along. I LOVE IT!!! With its accommodated size, ease of temperature and cooking settings, and everything else that goes with this kitchen essential is a cook's dream to have. It handsomely sits on my kitchen countertop, and the french doors are super easy to open and close for every use, whether for baking or simply toasting four pieces of bread. It's so efficient I haven't used my gas oven for over two years. If you need a convenient cooking element for everyday use to decrease your energy bill, this is the countertop oven I highly recommend. The interior light makes it so easy to keep an eye on the cooking process, and it is a breeze to clean using soap and water, and a microfiber cloth. The size is just as advertised, not the disappointing ones of so many inefficient electronics. No more I have to lean down to pull out the rack from my gas oven. The Oster is right there staging at counter level. I've enjoyed seven years of happy cooking with this range, making roasts, stuffed chicken, chops, and frozen pizzas for late-night snacking. I read several complaints about an opening between the french doors. My oven has the same, but I haven't noticed any heating issues. It also has dual settings so you can broil, defrost, warm, and dehydrate your food accordingly with a timer that sets up to 90 minutes. Here are my pros and cons:
Pros: roomy, quiet, French doors make it easy to use Cons: toast function automatically resets to level 4 every time you use it, 90 minute limit on timer, setting an oven temp automatically sets a baking timer that needs to be adjusted to your needs, heat can only be adjusted in 25 degree increments, buttons don’t make a “beep” sound to indicate that they have been touched. The cons aren’t deal breakers, but keep them in mind that they may be annoying to some people. It is a large oven, almost as big as a microwave, so be prepared to lose counter space. My mom has one, and it takes the place of her oven (her oven broke and she doesn’t use it enough to warrant buying a full size stove on her limited budget, especially since the burners still work perfectly).Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Nice looking, works well and efficient.
Actually, quite a nice looking, compact, multi functional oven. I'm pleased. I've never used a convection oven before, but I'm very glad I tried, because this one is very efficient at baking.and fast in getting food done. The baking tray seems easy to clean, although I've only used it a few times, but it seems to be holding up in the cleanliness division.The oven is Easy to operate once you hang the hang of it, Timer works well, so I have nothing to say negatively for this very nice looking large enough to roast in oven, Would recommend.it. Restaurant type convection oven
Caveat Emptor, as I, being a Chef, am used to oven doors closing in unison, you are not and will get burned if you are not keenly aware of the effect ! Price wise and size wise, this is a sheer bargain ! I am thinking of ordering this for family members ! $ 200 is cheap given the cooking volume and features ! Oster countertop oven
We have a small kitchen with no room for a built in oven, this unit has proven to be exactly what I needed. The capacity is more than enough, to date I have baked bread in a 5.5 qt Dutch oven, a large pan of lasagna, etc Temperature is running almost exactly as set on the oven according to my thermometer , I also like the French door feature , very pleased overall !Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

This is a 10 star oven -- Buy It!!
I love this oven!! It preheats quickly, doesn't heat up my kitchen, has a huge interior. I have used this oven about 12 times since it arrived, and everything I have cooked came out the way it was supposed to. Even the cookies I did came out crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I love the digital display that lets you know exactly what is going on from the oven preheating to counting down the remaining time. The only thing I hate... The way the doors have to be completely opened or they will snap back closed, and if you are trying to take out a pan, ohh well. Excellent buy-cooks almost anything perfectly. Looks great!
It will almost replace a standard oven. I have used it for everything I cook other than bacon and eggs! And I haven't baked a large cake yet. the best thing about it is the french doors. I read every comment/review I could find before buying it. The fact that you must secure the doors open is a no-brainer and is the reason it is so much easier to use than the standard "toaster"oven. Pluses with some minor design flaws.
Big footprint that could have been reduced to retain the internal baking area. It's not as well insulated as could be with a gap between the doors when closed. Could have a heat resistant seal. Also, the doors swing closed when not fully opened. This is really inconvenient if you don't want the doors wide open. Maybe have a special section just for toast. you have to heat this huge oven for a slice or two of toast. Now that I've pointed out it's short comings in my mind, here are the plus... IT REALLY BAKES WELL AND IS VERY STYLISH. Baked cookies in this oven and my regular oven as a side by side comparison. This unit did better in cooking evenly and browning. I couldn't believe it.
