Good story with great action and filming.
Ancient Ninja school gathers young kids for training as assassins for hire. One particular prodigy student has issue with the ethics of his master and betrays the clan. While on the run from his former family of assassins , he becomes entangled with an investigative operative who learns of the clans existence , threatening to expose the Ninjas. The student must make a choice between remaining hidden, or standing against his former family, and protecting her. There are many scenes with lots of detailed fighting action. The superhuman like abilities of the Ninja add a lot to the movie's feel. The Dark scene lighting in some places is done well, and will pop out better with a good TV with a high contrast ratio. I dont know if you would say this is THE best Ninja movie, but I think its a must have for people who like this style/genre of movie.

Ninja Assassin
This movie is violent and bloody. It was a decent movie. Definitely not for children. The disc arrived in great shape.

Keeps on the edge of your seat
This is one of those action movies that when its over your bummed out & want to rewatch it again right then ! Awesome casting , Action Choreography scenes are amazing but this is definitely a MA17 movie with the fight scenes & blood loaded scenes would be to much for younger veiwer !!! Seriously this is a MA17 movie!!! But for us adults you may find yourself jumping off the couch doing a full on fly side kick due to being caught up in the movie !!! This is a must have for your movie collection and at this price its one of the best buys you will ever make !!!

Excellent, Extremely Intense. The Old Tradition of the 15th Century. Brutal Training. Sho Kosugi is The Ultimate Master. The True 1980 Year Where He Brought This Incredible Introduction to America. Rain is The Most Amazing and Well Gifted Orphan. His Martial Arts Skills will be Always Incredible With His Entire Skills in Martial Arts and Ninja. A MUST HAVE TO GET TO WATCH.

Saw on cable and it’s on one of streaming channels to Great martial arts scenes and weapon training for the actors was great to. It’s not for young kids because of the action and blood scenes.
