Excellent Tube
Bought this Machlett 3-500Z to replace an RF Parts tube that developed a grid short after 10 months of use in my AL-80B. The Machlett was packed in an oversized carton with thick cut foam, not the cheap thin rolled foam that RF parts uses. The tube produces good power just as you would expect. Awesome tube and quality.
Great tube, these 3-500 gz tubes are of good quality. Full out put on the hf bands. I see over 900+ watts on my tests. That's with 65 watts of drive power pep ssb. I don't run the tube that hard,only about 700 watts or so. I would recommend buying these tubes. No disappointment here. Thanks Frank.......😃😃😃. Frank tube is still giving full output.
