You'll be glad you bought this tv classic
Funny, insightful and beautiful comedic timing. I'd forgotten just how good the writing is in each episode and the actors delivery and performances are top notch. Laugh out loud regularly. Fantastic pick-me-up viewing.

5 stars for content, 1 star for picture quality
5 stars for content but it was filmed so long ago the picture quality is diabolical and almost unwatchable on today's big UHD screens, so only 1 star for that. I've ended up watching ripping them to watch on a laptop on the coffee table instead. (If only there was an option to reduce the screen size on UHD TVs!)

Political guidance at its best
If you aspire to be a politician and want to get to the top, Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister are the perfect guides. They go into great detail of just how to keep the status quo, appear to be very active whilst doing nothing and keeping any change from ever happening. These DVDs are obviously being used by the present government who follow them to a tee. You can hear it in everything they say and everything they (don't) do. So they are highly recommended for all politicians.

Great box set.
Great box set well worth purchasing every episode full of laughs, the worrying thing is that this is probably how the government is really run.

Political comedy that is relevant today
It is surprising how a comedy programme about politics, made many years ago, can still be so relevant today, with subjects including Europe, austerity cuts, the NHS, education etc. etc. Superb examples of history repeating itself, told by a team of well known, and excellent, actors, some now, unfortunately, no longer with us. The comedy interaction and timing is second to none, only enhanced by the very expressive facial reactions. It is a series of programmes I never grow tired of watching.

Yes Minister/Prime Minister
Considering how old this series is - its bang up to date with current political carry on! Brilliant script writing and first class acting. One of those series you can watch several.times and still find it really funny.

Classical and Great Series (Still very relevant!!)
I needed to get another copy of these having given my last ones to my daughter. Wonderful series with insights which are as relevant now as they were in 1988

Funny and relevant even today
Still as relevant and funny as it ever was. A complete set of one of the best sitcoms ever written. DVD arrived and is used but in good nick.

Sensible and efficient
At last: an outfit with the gumption to properly pack & track their DVDs destined to the other side of the world! I'm impressed & well pleased; the best I've dealt with. You can not get better than perfect!
