Works well but u need to know this
If the feeding bowls in the tray don't line up with the cover then lift the gear in the center of the post that turns the tray and rotate until it matches. When u lift the tray be careful to lift straight up so this doesn't happen accidentally. Otherwise I've had one for 18 months. Always works, easy to program, and still on the same batteries after daily use. Bought 2 more when we got more pets.

The automatic feeder works great with my schedule
I feed my two cats in the morning and late at night and then use a feeder for each of them for their mid-day meal when I am not at home. They are happy and it is a great relief to me to have them eating on schedule. I numbered the sections from 0 to 4 so with just a glance I know when I need to refill the tray. It works great for us.

Mama’s Little Helper
My dachshund needs to eat 5 small meals per day. I got this so I could throw up my hands when she begs for food and say “Don’t look at me, I’m not the one that feeds you!” I thought I would take a chance on it despite some of the bad reviews. And I am so glad I did. Bought this one used so it was tried and true, not a lemon. Love it!

Easy, Convenient, and Reliable
This feeder allows me to portion out an exact amount of food and set the timer to feed my cat at specific times during the day and night. To make it easier to know when to refill it, I numbered each of the sections so I can see at a glance how many portions are left.

Quality, value, easy set up.
This is one of the best food timers out there, I have tried many different ones. Batteries last years. Reliable operation.

Petsafe 5 meal feeder
Appears to be of good quality. A little pricey, but reasonable compared to the price of a pet sitter. Pays for itself after the first day. This is the second one I own.
