90's style Technic fun.
If you wanted this as a child, in the 90's, but couldn't quite scrape together the dough, buy it now. I thoroughly enjoyed assembling this Lego model. The detailing isn't quite as fancy as the current motorcycle models from Lego but it has enough nostalgia to make up for that. As I am an experienced Lego Technic builder, it was not severely challenging. I would rate it a 3 of 10 for difficulty. It was a 9 of 10 for fun and memories. There is one "flaw" to note. The gears Lego used in this model to transfer the motion 90 degrees from the engine crankshaft to the drive chain jack shaft must be perfectly aligned or they bind, causing the rear wheel to rotate in a jerky fashion. With those gears aligned correctly, and the wheel axles having their due clearance to freely spin, this is an enjoyable model.
I would recommend this Lego Technic model for ages 9 and up, depending on skill and for anyone who likes to build working models that can be displayed and admired or played with.
