Good resource for self-taught beginners learning notation. Easy to read, well-organized, small enough to transport.
Good resource for sel-taught violin students. Easy to read with simple language. Well-organized with a nice glossary of terms. Helps as supplemental source for workbooks and notation books. Small enough to easily transport for reading on transportation. Nice margins to write notes.

Very appropriate.
This small book is the equivalent of a very good music teacher. Having no experience beyond grade school song books, having no instrument to practice on, still I found myself comprehending the lessons. Excellent for a wide range of ages and it's packed full of simple, clear instructions from first to last pages. Note that it addresses both piano and guitar with additional notes for other instruments.

An Excellent Book for New Music Learners
A great book for beginners. It’s easy to learn and understand. It links the musics with playing piano and guitar music instruments and gives more fun to learners.

A great tutorial in reading music.
How to Read Music booklet is easy, self explaining way to read music. I am glad I have it in my collection of books.

Great book
This book i took for granted, it is great for beginners and intermediate player. I play bass and piano, it has help with my reading music and being a better player.

Would have a notebook for notes
It's very informative and it's been over 30 years since I took music. I would recommend it for a new student. Wish there was a workbook with it. Just so could study it and understand it a little easier.
