Well Worth the Extra Dollars Spent
This power supply is the top of the line for powering any Digitrax DCC system. Even if it is a "little overkill" in size for your HO or N layout its features for expansion and quality/stable supply are exceptional. It was perfect for my three district, two- layout plan for my HO modeling railroad with a lot of complex, industrial scenery electronics control features. Bob the Train Guy is an excellent supplier with great customer service; I am a return customer.

PS 2012 review - when to use
A PS 2012 should be used with all Digitrax DCS's it regulates and establishes a base line. The DCS's do not have enough regulation or filtering to use a PS515 especially if you live in a rural area where the power fluctuates. The PS2012 is very stable and cured a lot problems with my layout. Use a DB 200+ as your first booster, it has no computer inside and stabilizes the control lines to the throttles and other boosters; it should be on the PS2012 also. Good product.

Strong and Powerful
The good things is it is made by Digitrax and they have an awesome support system for their products, The PS2012 has more than enough power to run a large layout. It has current meter built in and it is simple to hook up . I am just a model rail roader and this is my opionion based on the fact that I have been a DCC user and user of Digitrax products for over 10 yrs and have seldom had any issues and when I did they were handled as described. You will not be unhappy with this product

digitrax power supply 2012 easy hook up. works good
Digitrax makes a very good product line. This power supply works very will on my layout. All Digitrax products I have brought have worked very well.

Digitrax PS-2012
The Digitrax PS-2012 power supply is perfect for adding additional Digitrax 5 Amp boosters to my DCC system. This one power supply can power up to four 5 Amp command stations and boosters. This is exactly what I needed.
