A vacationing detective begins to suspect that the Biblical apocalypse is at hand after being forced to relive the day of the Rapture time and again. Detective David Ramsey (David A.R. White, his wife, and their friends are cruising the Sea of Cortez in a luxury yacht when nearly everyone aboard vanishes without a trace. Confused, Detective Ramsey contacts his captain (Eric Roberts) and learns that the boat captain and his boss may have ties to the underworld. Suddenly, Detective Ramsay wakes up in a cold sweat. Initially determining that it was all just a dream, his relief turns to anxiety when the day begins playing out exactly as he had just envisioned it. Prodigal cop
I had watched this film multiple times before on Netflix, then it was pulled and I decided to get me a personal copy that I could share. Some action, great location video when they take a boat ride down the coast of Mexico. I will give you my background in that I enjoyed the "Left Behind" movies. I also enjoy many secular films one of which is "Groundhog Day". This particular movie is where Left Behind meets Groundhog Day. You have to take it from there. My family is always bugging me about spoiler alerts, but only after they have asked me a question about a film.
