    DNFit 2014 Scion tC

    Does not really fit the filter housing on a 2014 Scion tC as advertised. The 14 flute base fits well enough but is not deep enough for the "teeth" of the socket do not reach high enough to engage the tabs on the filter housing. Shame b/c otherwise the item is solid and well made compared to anything sold at local auto parts stores.

    Must have tool to remove late model Toyota oil filter housing.

    This tool is an absolute must for removing the filter housing on my 2017 Rav4. I tried the cheap end type but it didn't work so I was forced to remove it with my very large water pump pliers which was a very slow process due to the limited room to turn them. I went to our local AutoZone but they didn't have anything like it This fits exactly and cannot slip. It can be used with a 3/8" ratchet or a socket. Since I have no reason to use a socket I don't know the size. It is solid metal construction and will last many lifetimes. My only regret is that I didn't get one of these sooner!

    My mistakes

    I bought it for my Toyota Tacoma 2015 but it too small, I can't even use it. But it was my fault I didn't choose the right size. It useless now.

    To tight very thin

    Used once and wouldn’t come off. They are cheap and very thin took the other one and put it in the trash. They are made to small and don’t come off once you tap them on.

    Too loose and continued to slip off filter housing

    This tool slipped on my filter housing multiple times. I bought the professional tool from tool guy republic and the filter housing came right out. Disappointed in this product.
