Not trusted to look after his little sister, geeky freshman Ethan Morgan would be forgiven for disliking his babysitter Erica. There's a lot more to Erica than meets the eye, though - especially when Ethan notices that she has no reflection in the mirror. Together, the pair uncover a haunting local curse - and vow to battle vampires, ghosts, and demons to free their town. Atticus Dean Mitchell and Vanessa Morgan star in the comedy, directed by Bruce McDonald. The "My Babysitter's a Vampire" three-disc set features the whole first season, and runs for approximately 80 minutes. The series won the Gemini Award twice in 2011, for best dramatic mini-series and best performance, and three Directors Guild of Canada Awards for production and directing. The three-disc set also features interviews with the leading stars and directors, and a number of comedy outtakes, along with teasers for the second season of "My Babysitter's a Vampire." Written by Tim Burns, Tom Gillies and Jennifer Pertsch, "My Babysitter's a Vampire" is sure to be a timeless hit.

Really cute show!
Season 1 of "My Babysitter's a Vampire" is a fun little show produced in Canada and shown in the US on Disney Channel. It's a shame Season 2 is not available on DVD, nor is the original movie this series is a continuation of.
