Awkard to control
First of all, I was expecting a blue colour, as per photo, which would match my kitchen! I received a black one. It could be because I have arthritis in my fingers, but I found it very difficult/fiddly to use, especially when trying to adjust the size of loop required. The rubber kept coming out the plastic, and then it was difficult to grip the handle while trying to open the jar without the rubber slipping. I had a similar one made by Prestige before, which lasted years, and was so much easier to use - unfortunately, they don't seem available anymore. good bit of kit!
Had one of these 20 yrs ago in our hotel kitchen.... great time saver, & wrist saver too come to that !! I thought they'd stopped making them !!! So glad I now have a new one. Great little tool...

Weak hands must have

Get a grip!
Either my grip is getting weaker or the machines that put lids on bottles and jars are lacking in maintenance resulting in over tightining ! This Boa Constrictor strap wrench has solved the problem. It is brilliant and make undoing the tops/lids etc much easier. It is simple to use expands easily for the various sizes and does an excellent job. A very handy tool.
Bought this for my wife, as she sometimes struggles to open containers, if i'm not there to help. She found it a bit fiddly at first, but once she got the hang of it, no problem, she uses it all the time now.
