Good addition to Musical Score Library
As a fan of the show, one of the elements that keeps it alive in my memory is an appreciation for the mood-building scores in every episode. A lot of attention was given to the cinematic structure o the television show and having this album in my film score library is a constant reminder of the important contributions of television scores to music. It's always a great pleasure to hear the music apart from the visual experience of the episode, and this CD was a real treat. The number of selections, covering four seasons of the series, offers a lot of reflective entertainment and holds your interest. On this album you won't find the memorable rock tracks that many fans typically associate with the series, but you'll be amazed at the rich orchestral background themes that filled Buffy's stories for years. I'd not only recommend this one to vampire or slayer fans, but anyone interested in adding some dramatic music to a collection. There are times when you want something special to play while relaxing or reading, and this will fit the bill more often than you might imagine. Happy slaying!
