    Stant 10841 Fuel Tank Cap

    I purchased this Fuel Tank Cap after I had the Check Engine Light turn on and off twice. I assumed since the Check Engine Light was not on steady, it must be a bad gasket in my 10 year old fuel cap. I have not used the cap since it was a Coil Pack which was causing the malfunction. It was not the cap since the Check Engine Light started flashing continually and it was found through the OBD scanner that cylinder 2 was misfiring from the coil. I only purchase Stant fuel and radiator caps for all of my vehicles. They were the most well known and reliable supplier of cooling and fuel system products going back to when I first started to drive and work in a service station almost 50 years ago. I go with an established product rather than gamble on an inexpensive, unknown, which could leave ...

    I bought this gas cap because of my check engine light on, it didn't work out the first time I reseted the check engine light, but now it looks like it is, so good so far though. I'll update later on if there are changes.

    Leash doesn’t fit

    The gas cap is good quality it’s a slant so you know it’s going to fit right but my daughters 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix Gas cap leash doesn’t fit. So I made a hook that can go on the inside of the gas filler door. She can hang the gas cap on that while filling. Same design on a lot of cars have where you can hook the gas cap on the inside of the filler door.
