Product Information

Gamers join a squad of heroes and battle one another on a near-future Earth in Overwatch. A robot uprising led to a global crisis that was quashed by the Overwatch heroes, but as time passed the Overwatch lost influence and disbanded. When a new threat appears the old heroes are called back in as gamers lead squads of six through battles across maps based on real-world locations like Russia, Japan, and ancient Egypt. Players can choose from more than 20 characters spread across the Offense, Defense, Tank, and Support classes, and then take on the Assault, Escort, or Control game modes. Characters include a cyborg ninja, a teleporting adventurer, a former pro gamer who pilots a mech, and a super intelligent gorilla, and each offers a primary weapon, a melee attack, and an ultimate ability. The Offense class is fast and deals high damage, but has lower hit points, while the Defense class can interrupt enemy attacks and fortify locations on a map. The Tank class is used to absorb damage and break through enemy lines, and the Support class can heal teammates, offer them better defensive stats, or increase their damage. Assault mode finds one team trying to capture two target points on a map and the other team defending, while Control mode finds both teams fighting over one target point, and Escort mode involves one team delivering a payload to a specific point and the other team trying to prevent it from reaching its destination. This Origins Edition includes the full game as well as five Overwatch hero skins, the hero character Tracer, a baby Winston pet for World of Warcraft, a Hearthstone card pack, the Mercy's wings outfit for Diablo III, and in-game portraits for StarCraft II.

    Good game, one problem though

    I don't understand why my content like skins, voice lines and emotes don't transfer over between platforms. I prefer playing overwatch on PC, and that's where I've unlocked the majority of my content. This content does not affect gameplay, only aesthetic. We're able to link our blizzard accounts, so why can't loot be transferred? All I can guess is so people will buy more loot boxes on multiple platforms and blizzard will make maximum profit, which i personally think is super lame. But whatever, the game is still the same on PC or console. I just prefer keyboard and mouse. If you like cartoony team-based fps games with lovable, interesting characters and action-packed gameplay, this game is for you. Just don't buy it more than once like I did, because it's really not worth it.

    Epic game!

    I bought Overwatch: Origins Edition on recommendation from my son, who also has the game. I have to say, it's one of the best games I've ever purchased. The graphics are incredible & life-like, and the game offers a wide array of characters to choose from. This game definitely does not disappoint!

    Favorite Game

    If this isn’t my favorite console game ever it’s a close second. I love the gameplay and the multiplayer experience (for the most part). Each month a new “surprise” is offered by the developers, new maps, new characters, new improvements on characters. It’s very fun to play, even watching others play is fun.

    Good Game for Single Multiplayer action Lacks Co-op, campaign, or more importantly any local two player options

    Great Game if you’re looking solely for a good competitive highly used multiplayer first person shooter! Sadly it does not have local two players or any single player non online live action. It is what is. Still fun could be way better.

    Love the game!

    Have played it for months now. Got it in June of 2017 and still playing now. It's a great game. Instant fun! However Blizzard has started to get on my nerves with their changes to the game. Often to drastic or not very thought out before being put in the live games. As of now Hanzo is still the same but we already know about the two new abilities (volley and disengage). Plus the major buffs for Sombra (I like her but the buffs seem too aggressive). Heck she's the reason I bought the game I loved the idea of sneaking up on enemies and ruining their plans. So in short love the game... But starting to dislike Blizzard.
