    Its a spark plug

    These plugs are great for older Harley twin cam engines. If you have the later engine with Delphi fuel injection they may cause problems with the ION sensing knock suppression feature, as this relies heavily on the plug/wire resistance combo. Aside from this, these fine wire plugs can fire easier with less voltage. That is not an opinion, it is a fundamental property of electricity. The fine wire also lessens the chance of a piece of soot causing fouling, something I used to get occasionally with the stock plugs. Finally they should last a long time. What you should not expect is increased power or better fuel mileage. It is just not going to happen unless the plugs you are replacing are compromised, and in that case a new stock spark plug will have the same effect.

    These are great spark plugs

    I removed the standard Harley Davidson plugs w/about 10,000 miles on them and installed these a few weeks agoT The difference in engine smoothness was noticed upon firing up the motor and the power increase was very noticeable upon acceleration. I also noted the shifting was smoother without the huge clunk ~ quiet and smooth. Very pleased and would buy again.

    Spark Plugs For The Harley

    The DENSO 5308 iridium spark plug is an ideal choice for the late model Harley-Davidson big twins. They make for easy starts, solid running, and fuel efficiency. It just could not be better.
