Works for Gyotaku Printing
I have purchased a few rolls of this rice paper for making fish prints - gyotaku. It has a smooth side and a little more textured side. The paper picks up the scale patterns and subtle details of the fish resulting in beautiful accurate prints. It can tear or puncture easily if it get's too wet or yoo much pressure is used. As far as Japanese rice papers go this is a bargain priced entry level product. Higher quality rice papers obviously command higher prices. This is the one for practicing and developing your art interests.

Shoji ricepaper replacement
The rice paper was good quality, fitting my shojis perfectly as to size & shape; price was reasonable; delivery ahead of schedule.
