The product was advertised as "leather," but on delivery, it appears to be a "PU leather" (polyurethane leather or, as we call it, a "genuine synthetic"). If PU leather had been specified, I likely would not have purchased it. It does not have the typical chemical smell of PU leather, but I don't anticipate it to wear well or last as long as leather. It is decent value for the price; I will keep it but still hunt for a genuine leather product.
