Ch 10 remote start for 2017 Ram 1500
This is a very nice quality plug and play unit. 4 out of 5 stars. 4 stars due to the lack of clear install instructions. There are plenty of good You Tube videos to search that will fill in the blanks. I would recommend viewing those before attempting the install. The most time consuming part is installing software on your home computer. This unit needs to be flashed with specific software for your vehicle. The flashing program is free and additional plugin software from Microsoft is free. You will need a windows based computer running MS explorer. The kit comes with a usb data link to hook up the module to your computer. Flash the module the first time to load vehicle specifics. Install the system . Absolutely plug and play. 8 out of 10 on the easy scale. Flash the module the second time plug it in follow the directions close up the install your good to go. Time for install . Got mail, had remote start installed within 1 hour.
Hardest part was figuring out weblink install on laptop. Had to install a few things to get weblink to work. Once I got that figured out, took 20 minutes to install and program. Great product for the price
Bought for a 2013 Ram very easy to install, had a couple of setbacks with the programming but the support tech was very helpful. Just read instructions from start to finish before you begin. All around a great product for the price.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Remote Start
The remote start is very simple to install. There are (3) wires off the remote start harnesses that will need to be hard wire to the vechile. The rest of the install is plug and play. You must Flash your unit before installing. Flashing is made easy with the Web link data cable that is provided. You will have to look on Flashlogics web site for details. Took about 30 minutes to install. Product works great. Factory key fob still functions properly and now has the added advantage of hitting lock 3 times and truck starts. Great product
Easy install. Was hooked up in 5 minutes no joke. Programming was a little vague but the first step not specified was going to their website and installing the firmware on the controller. My wife loves it!
Great product installed on a 2017 Ram Tradesman 2500 Diesel with Tip start remote keys. EASY install, truely plug and play. Start to finish, taking my time, was 30mins in the install portion Go slow, read the instruction and follow them. The online portion was easy as well. Item not as Plug and play or easy to install as described. Bought it for a 2014 Charger, ordered the flsch7 and got the flshch10 which is supposed to be interchangeable. Spent a couple hours tearing the car apart and getting it installed. It was not terribly difficult but being the first time I’ve done this it took a while longer. Got it all installed and....nothing. I’ve read several descriptions of people having to flash the unit several times before it worked. Great and super easy
Installed in a 2014 Ram 2500 gas/automatic. I've installed auto starts in all my vehicles for the last 15 years. Living in Alaska, it sucks to grab a hold of a steering wheel that's -20 degrees..... This "plug and play" was a little more difficult to install than I was expecting, but it still only took about an hour to get it working and has been the easiest so far. The instructions are written for a technician that already knows what he/she is doing so there is a bit of a learning curve. Also, make sure you follow the steps exactly as described. It took me about 6 times to actually get the full procedure to work out between the programming and the key learning, but when it worked, it worked. Other systems I've installed in the past were hours of hooking up little wires to other little wires that ultimately ended up a severe PITA. This was three connectors and that's it. I watched a few different "youtube" videos and none had the correct steps. Some showed me how to take apart the dash which was helpful and where to look for the connectors, but had different programming steps, so you'll have to balance the instructions with videos if you go that route. Works great on 2018 Ram 1500

Exactly as described and really easy to install
Installed on 2016 Ram 1500. Piece of cake. Programming was also easy. However if like me you are reading the instructions on a phone it’s a little hard to see that they say plug power in FIRST.
