And the gem's appearance is different compared to what was shown on the page; it lacks the colour purple, which is why we purchased this product.

I purchased as a birthday gift for my mom whose birthstone is Amethyst, hoping it would have at least some dark purple in it; what I received is half washed out pink with a a couple flecks of light purple that only show up at certain angles & half orange with multiple visible blemishes that should have been ground down & buffed out on the face of the pendant. I will probably have to find something else for her instead.
