    Design flaws

    The scanner works fine but there are several issues that could be improved upon. I found that there is enough slack in the slide holder that the sides can drop slightly, this results in the slide not being fully scanned, and cropping of the saved image becomes necessary. I found that by laying the scanner on it's side so that the slides are in a horizontal position the results are much better and cropping is not necessary. Another issue is there is no way to clean the interior should you get any particles of dust inside the unit. The result is that it becomes necessary to edit each scanned image with a good spot removal program. All in all the unit seems to be functioning fine, I have scanned well over a thousand slide so far, with no problems other than the issues I have mentioned. ...

    ClearClick Scanner

    This product is great! I have scanned about 500 negs now and this product has powered right through. No problems. I have only used it for Negs at this point. Retail stores want around $0.60 an image to do this. If you have as many old Negs as I do you will save alot of money with this scanner. Once you get started you will want to scan all your old photos. The ClearClick Scanner is very easy to transport and all you need is a place to plug it in to use. The power cord is a little short but you can use a USB extension to solve that issue. The ClearClick Scanner converts the Neg into Pos colors right on the viewer when you scan it so you get to see what the scan will look like. You scan then save to the SD card and it's ready to download to your computer. Great investment!

    Awesome

    Everything about this is great except for where the pictures are held in place to scan . It needs a slider bracket to keep pictures in place as none of my pictures fit in the holders they are to small I have had to make a firm plastic frame to hold pictures in place in the Brackets so they would not fall out .But once that was done very easy to use and great program that came with it for editing the pictures on my desktop Computer

    Easy to use

    This was just what I needed for quick scanning. I also have a flat bed scanner, but with this I can scan my old negatives and slides. Very quick and simple.
