It's just the item itself was absolutely terrible: AVGN was right about accessories like it. The problem with the stick is that it somehow has *less* movement flow than a Dpad: it's constantly getting stuck and doesn't roll on a ball, so fighting games like Power Quest play worse with it. This might have been on my system before, but there's also a small chip near the Dpad that could be from this item.

It is extremely snug when plugged into the PS1 AV Port. I bought my PS1 brand new in 1999 and took great care of it. I'm uncomfortable plugging this into my console for fear of damaging it
