    The item arrived quickly. The Floyd Rose packaging isn’t the greatest, and a couple of the smaller pieces escaped the packaging and one bit was lost entirely. I reached out to the seller, who shipped out replacement parts right away. Great customer service.

    Item was damaged on some of the stringd it didnt sound right i returned it in its original package with everything that came with it and the seller only refunded me 251 out of 357 almost 100 dollars for the box which they said was not exactly the same way they send it. Also tried to contact the seller and it’s been three days and no response. I was wrong almost $100 for just a box that was not open. Don’t recommend this seller at all also this bajosexto looks very cheap look somewhere!!

    It Works!!

    A lot of people on Talkbass think, based on apperarances, this is an overpriced washer, or beer can ring tab. I was hesitant to order it. It has truly changed the character of my American Standard Jazz V bass. The "B" string was just not solid on it. E through G were fine but when I hit the B, particularly from open to about 6 or 7th fret it was just 'blaaah". And I tried a lot of different string sets and combinations with it. This simple little retainer effectively tightened up the string to where it is genuinely useful. I still don't love the B as much as the E,A, and D strings (I hate Gs, even on guitars (?)), but the B is musical and resonant now... Cheap fix if you ask me. Burns my butt that Fender doesn't include them on $1200 plus basses!!

    Handy!

    It appears that this may be a cheater fix for proper stringing around the post, and to a certain extent, it is. However, it's an elegant way to ensure that you always have the proper downward angle of the string/nut. It does what it does perfectly and is easy to install. It's designed to replace the washer on a 17mm or 21/32" diameter tuner post.

    More practical than I thought!

    I put this on my Fender American Standard Jazz bass. It does look better with all 4 strings coming off the nut at the same angle but more importantly the A string also appears to stay in tune better as well. I use black nylon Flatwound Rotosound Tru Bass 88 strings which are very smooth so this string retainer may not be an improvement for all string types.

    Only work on American Standard style tuners. Not for vintage or MIM

    Does not work on older bushing style Kluson tuners. I was unable to install it on the bass I intended to install it on, but I did put it on my American Standard Jazz Bass. It seems to work well and was easy to install.
