Great movie!!!!
Sally Field played M’Lynn and was OUTSTANDING in this film. All of the stars were perfect for their rolls. Shirley, Hannah, Dollie and Olympia was just fantastic!!! This is a must see movie!!!

Love this movie
I was told over and over again to see this movie but didn't do it until a couple months ago. Now I have it on dvd. I love the story, love the characters and their unique personalities, but how they still all stick together through good and bad times. This movie made me laugh, definitely made me cry, but also made me stop and think about how precious family is and how lucky a person is if they have true friends, as portrayed in this movie.

Always a Favorite!
If you enjoy all things Southern and heartwarming you'll love this movie. It's a bit dated now but a sweet and funny story of love, loss and friendships!

Great cast and film
I am so delighted to add this to my collection after all these years. Dolly, Shirley, Julia, Olympia, Sally... couldn’t ask for a more magical cast and engaging story line. This disc has some wonderful extras too!

I absolutely love, love, love this movie!!! I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen it but I never get tired of it. Everything about this movie is absolute perfection, it gives me a warm feeling from the very beginning and makes me feel nostalgic.

Bringing back very good memories. And i actually got to park in front of the house where it was filmed. And have met recently one of the fill in casts so i had to have it

One of the best movies ever made.
I've seen this movie a million times and never gets old. (Bought this to replace my old dvd.) This movie is about unconditional love of family and friends; true friends sticking together during the good and bad times. One of my top 3 favorite movies.

Fabulous Story of Love and Friendship
I had this on vhs but now finally got it on dvd... It is a heartwarming film, with a fantastic cast. I'm thrilled that I am able to add it to my library and for such a reasonable price !!! Thanks much :)
