This was purchased as a gift and the clear plastic enclosure over the brush was stapled on. I could not give this as a gift since it appeared previously opened. When I messaged the seller regarding this he/she said it was stapled to keep the brush in the packaging. I messaged back explaining I could not offer this as a gift and there was no response. Poor misrepresentation of the product. This piece was exactly as described in the listing, so I was not disappointed. The price was very reasonable for a salvaged item. The shipping was incredibly fast: I won the auction on a Monday morning and I had the piece Wednesday afternoon! It was carefully packaged. I could even reuse some of the packaging as tarps while I work to complete my project. Awesome experience!
