When we are very young, most of us learn simple rules to protect ourselves. Don't stick your finger in a light socket. Look both ways before crossing the street. Don't talk to strangers. These are all valuable pieces of information, but the world we live in demands we know more. This book is a basic guide to security in our modern world. In more than two decades of personal security-related experience, I have read hundreds, possibly thousands, of books and articles relating to security. Many are too scholarly to be of much practical daily use. None cover all the areas we are likely to encounter in our normal daily lives. This book is a compilation of the things I believe everyone should know. It covers those areas that most of us encounter on a daily basis, either personally or in the rest of our society through the media. It is designed to be a modern version of "Don't stick your finger in the light socket." I've designed this book to be easy to read. It is short and, hopefully, sometimes humorous. It can probably be read cover to cover in one sitting or you can simply skip straight to the parts that interest you most. Each section, heck, almost each page, should stand pretty well on its own. I've also tried to maintain a light writing style to make otherwise unpleasant topics a little less so. I'm hoping that you find this book to be as much fun to read as I did to write.

    Seller shipped out the DVDS of the TV series THE LOVE BOAT season two volume two really fast and it arrived earlier than listed to and well wrapped up for the trip by mail. The dvd set showed up in good condition just as they described it to be. The price was great and the seller did everything needed to make it a perfect seller and buy. Would buy again from them.
