Product Information

Players engage in guerilla warfare as they shoot their way through an open-world version of Philadelphia in Homefront: The Revolution. As with the original Homefront, the game takes place in an alternate timeline where a reunited Korea has invaded and occupied large portions of the United States. The first-person action puts gamers in the role of Ethan Brady as he helps lead a resistance movement by recruiting new fighters, improvising weapons, and using ambushes, sabotage, and deception to overcome the Korean People's Army extreme technological and military advantage.<br><br>Homefront: The Revolution also includes a separate co-op multiplayer campaign in which four gamers can team up and form their own resistance cell. This Resistance mode functions somewhat like a traditional survival mode, with players battling waves of oncoming foes, but it also offers narrative-driven missions and includes unique characters, classes, perks, and progression.<br><br>This bonus edition includes the full game as well as the Revolutionary Spirit pack, which offers the Red Skull motorcycle skin and the golden pistol skin, as well as early unlocks for remote explosives, sniper scopes, and the Marksman Rifle.

    Avoid like the plague

    Seemed like a good value. I loaded it and played for an hour or so, and the next day the game refused to load. Loading screen would spin for 15 minutes or so and then timeout. Went to the boards and found this was a very common issue with both the XBox 1 version and the PS4. I've uninstalled and reinstalled to the same behavior. There's not an issue with the disc, but when the software sees an internet connection, it auto-updates and breaks immediately. Total waste of money. Seems like the game could be fun if it were in fact playable. I wish I would have seen the warnings before purchasing.

    Unbelievably broken game

    This game was absolutely terrible I should have known better than to have bought it after reading so many negative reviews but it seems everybody was right. There are very little redeeming qualities and it seems as if the game was rushed and half finished. the weapons and combat are terrible and the missions are repetitive and extremely Bland the story is terrible and gives you no motivation to finish it. I honestly expected so much more from the developer because they, deep silver games usually make excellent titles. Do yourself a favor and get something else

    So. Dope.

    I feel bad that the devs got so much hate for this game. They've worked hard to fix a game that switched hands in development more than once and have succeeded in fixing 95% of the issues people worried about. (12gb update.) It's like Far Cry but better graphics. Loved every second.

    Great Co-op First Person Shooter.

    Story mode is a little too much online adventure mode than FPS for me. However, what I was looking for is the Co-op FPS experience and the Resistance mode is one of the best I've found so far. Challenging and time consuming. Will provide many hours of blasting with your friends on line in private game mode. Highly recommend for those looking for the private game co-op FPS. Excellent price via ebay providers vs. big box stores.

    Great game but...

    The game misses some aspects such as coop campaign and the resistance mode is what the single player and multiplayer should’ve been switched with each other.
