Very quick and easy to mix, just weigh, add water and stir with spoon, don’t use whisk as adding air weakens the lace.
I like many others found the oven temp and time needed to be increased slightly, works best if you have more than one mat rather than drying one out one at a time. A little can go a long way depending on lace pattern, 50g did 3.75 mats which gave me 7.5 strips of lace.
I enjoyed making lace for my Xmas cakes it's a tad messy but once you master how to use your lace mat and scraper it's a doddle ! Lace turned out Nice and flexible keeps well too wrapped in parchment paper, it took slightly longer than 20 minutes to dry out in the oven but worth waiting. I look forward to using flexi ice again and again.
