An excellent smartphone for girls and grandfathers!
An excellent smartphone from NOKIA with the unchanged SYMBIAN 9.2 on board. I have already the second 6290 with updated firmware supporting ARM 11 refresh. A third-party CRAFTMAN battery holds a charge for 3-4 days. Recommend!

great nokia flip phone
Decided to buy a flip phone as I was fed up with getting dust and muck on the phone ( pitfulls of being a builder ) anyhow, the battery seems to last longer than any other phone I have ever had, charging it up once every three days and it gets a fair amount of use. It has all the specification of a far more expensive phone, bluetooth, MP3 player, micr SD card, camera with zoom, external screen, etc etc What I like about this phone the most is that it feels realy well made, the flip has a nice strong feel to it and I think it will stand the test of time. Call clarity is excellent and overall I am real pleased and would certainly reccomend this phone to anyone, regardless of what your looking for in a mobile, I think this phone pretty much covers it all.

Nokia 6290
The hinge feels very solid when open and closed, it feels like a fairly durable mechanism. The keypad has nicely-sized buttons, large enough to make texting easy. They're made from individual bits of plastic so they click separately, but they're also flushed together well enough that your fingers can glide smoothly across the keypad from button to button. The direction pad is also part of this separate-but-smooth surface. The 6290's design strengths are in the way it reaches out to a more general market, for example the external controls and screen make it as easy to use as a dedicated music player. I Great Phone !!
