    Empty server chassis was packaged very well and arrived in the exact condition described. It was less than a quarter the cost of an empty chassis from our hardware partner. Everything looked good on arrival and we were able to swap our internals from a damaged server into this new one without issue.

    Received item with it not booting. Immediacy contacted seller. Seller is EXTREMELY responsive and courteous. Since I am technically inclined, the seller shipped, at their expense, the parts to fix the server and now it works great. I've never worked with an Ebay seller that was this responsive.     Optimal choice non-IT controller for ZFS

    If you're looking to upgrade your old rig for modern solutions, the very first step is moving from hardware to software RAID (zfs or btrfs). This controller is special, since if has a unique passthrough mode among this generation's controllers, which allows to pass the drives directly to OS. It also removes the risk of single point of system's failure, which is controller failure. Never had problems with it. Works great with ZFS, especially recommended to be used on Proxmox.

    Dell H310 an amazing little card that works, it just works!

    this helped me out big time, I just plug and play it on my R720XD and just like that I can see all my drives without having to configure the RAID controller. Thank you! Highly recommended A+++++

    Hassle free IT mode card

    Plugged it in and it worked just fine. I was able to start installing FreeNAS and build a pool with all my drives immediately. I'm very happy.
