It's also hard to know where to cut the adjuster so the ring is not (still) too loose or tight (I guess you should keep trying it on for fit before you cut the adjuster.) I made my adjuster on the long side to make sure my ring fit snugly. But when I was done, my top-heavy ring fit PERFECTLY--no more flopping to the side!
