Product Information

Director Nick Willing puts a new twist on Lewis Carroll's classic tale in this fantasy mini-series depicting Alice as a 21 year old women who ventures into Wonderland in search of a lost love. Almost immediately after presenting Alice (Catarina Scorsone) with an ornate family ring, handsome Jack Chase (Philip Winchester) is abducted by a pair of hulking brutes. Approached by a well-dressed man named White Rabbit (Alan Gray) who claims to know Jack's whereabouts, Alice follows the bearded stranger into a mirror and finds herself in a surreal new world of fantasy and wonder. When the Queen of Hearts (Kathy Bates) discovers her son bestowed a virtual stranger the ring that gives its owner power over the looking glass, it's up to Alice to determine what she should do with it. Harry Dean Stanton, Tim Curry, Matt Frewer, and Colm Meany co-star.

    A New Kind Of Trip On A Classic Fairy Tale.

    Alice In Wonderland was my favorite fairy tale as a kid. This movie is a new take on a beloved classic. I loved the story line, and the cast is very good. I believe Hatter was my favorite in the movie, but this film has some classic stars in it. Kathy Bates as the Queen of Hearts, Harry Dean Stanton as Caterpillar, and the guy from Max Headroom. This is one new age tale that will give you an awesome head trip, very entertaining. As for the DVD it arrived quickly and in great condition, I have nothing negative to say about Alice, very good movie.

    As far as this particular DVD, it is in excellent condition. As far as the movie itself... it has always been a favorite version of Alice in Wonderland.

    Good movie

    Interesting remake of the original “Alice in Wonderland”. It was very well done. The acting was very good, the script was well written, overall a movie to definitely watch.

    Disappointing and Disengaging

    I expected so much more than this movie delivered. It might be more appreciated by someone looking for a quirky romance-type movie. The characters were hollow and not all than entertaining - with the exception of one, who, in my opinion, brought some humor to an otherwise drab experience.
