    Great animation with in depth characterization

    Batman the animated series is by far the best animated batman series there is. It's a kids show, but it's full of clever and intelligent writing, plus some great voice acting by the likes of Mark Hamill as The Joker, Kevin Conroy as Batman, Michael Ansara as Mr. Freeze, and many more. It's very mysterious and has a sort of Tim Burton feel to it thanks to its dark atmosphere and music done by Danny Elfman (edward scissor hands etc.). Can't say enough good things!

    Bat-ter Up! - Homerun!!! The crowd goes wild!!!

    I remembered my children faithfully watching this show all the time and they really enjoyed it. I was working but saw it a little. I joined a Facebook group that talks about this series all the time. I ordered the first two seasons from Ebay and I watched tremendously impressed with everything about the series. The stories, the art, the everything of it. I'm getting the other seasons soon. Top flight series. This is my favorite Batman.

    The best story telling and character design! This is not just a cartoon, it is a legacy that left a huge mark on my childhood and my love for Batman. My wife and I are happy to see our sons enjoy it as much as we did when we were kids. Also Kevin Conroy & Mark Hamill! The Voices of Batman & The Joker, simply legendary!

    Very neat collection of arguabley the best animated Batman comic ever. Stories are solid. With comics, vocals, colors. All very entertaining. Every Batman fan should own it.

    Batman volume 1 review.

    This is a must own best Batman animated original series ever. The introduction of all the characters and the in depth role details and sweet early 90s animation was simply classic and unbeatable.
