Unfortunately, one of the 2 snare drum hoops arrived damaged, so I brought it up to the buyer and he apologized and went above and beyond to make the situation right. Rather than have me return the hoops for a refund as I requested, he immediately issued me a full refund and allowed me to keep the hoops rather than having to return them. Lododrumguy handled this situation with the upmost professionalism. I highly recommend this seller!

    Received shipment on time, securely wrapped and in good condition as described. It was a good price and the rims were the perfect replacement for the ones I had that were pitted and chipped. Shipping cost was a couple of dollars over priced but the cost of the rims off set it.

    Fabulous!!!

    This item works. It is easy to mount on your bass drum hoop. it holds one or more cowbells comfortably. The mounting clasps tighten easily with a drum key. The metal and chrome finish is flawless.. Centered on the bass drum hoop allows you easy access for either hand. It is cushioned with rubber so as not to harm the drum hoop, and it stays firmly in place. D.W.; has made us a great percussion clamp !!!!!

    DWSM2141 Claw Hook Clamp New

    I have bought many items from Pit Bull Audio and I am always pleased. I bought this for a Meinl Mike Johnston Pro Model Cowbell. Works great with the cowbell. Easy installation and love the memory lock like all DW hardware has. Looks great on my 24” DW kick drum. Thank you.

    Be aware of claw size

    The DW claw is a cast aluminum deal that is for thinner, round hoops... Probably not an issue with many drums, but is too small for my year 2000 Ludwig Maple Classics squared off hoop, and knife into the edge risking splitting it..... No worries, the design allows you to swap out the claw with one that is suitable...... Some claws may be incompatible, though. Other than that though, I'm very satisfied!!.... Solid as a rock, and does not endanger the hoop as a traditional design clamp would.

    Drum Workshop bass drum claw hook

    There is no "con" or downside to this. Constructed so that it doesn't scratch or damage the bass drum hoop. Can/will mount coveniently in between your toms on a five piece set. Great for cowbell/mambo bell. Mounts out of the way so that only the cowbell or other accessory is exposed Great design. Worth the money. Great job DW!!!

    The Best of the Best!

    Most bass mount holders clamp from below the hoop. Which bends the hoop downward when struck. Not this one! It tightens like a bass drum claw. No bending at all. I love this cowbell mount so much, I bought four for each of my kits. Great product!
