    Excellent Bible reference.

    This book gives :Author, date, In 10 words or less, Details (brief), quotable, unique and unusual, and So What? as headings and while not extensive does allow for quick reference for each book of the bible (both old and new testaments). I have used this book for years and bought 5 after giving mine away to a new Christian. Every new Christian should have this book as well as more knowledgeable people as it is a useful quick reference.

    Appropriate for first time bible readers

    This book is useful to those reading the bible for the first time or who need to understand the timeline and story behind each book. I would recommend this book as a reference especially during bible study time. Be mindful that it is not terribly detailed. The entire book can be read in 30 mins or less. This is a great book as an aid for first time believers reading the bible. It's work the $4 or less.

    Great bible guide

    This bible guide is a great one because it explains sections things you want to learn easy-to-understand format. I sent it to my boyfriend Dustin Curtis well he is in jail and it is a book that is really turning his life around. Thank you Bridget Sage, Greene NY

    Text is too faint to read easily.

    This is the second one I purchased. The first one was for me. This one was to be sent to my friend for her birthday. When it arrived, I opened the package to be sure that it was the book that I had a copy of. It was, however, when I opened the book, it was very difficult to read. The pages seemed like they were a cheap xerox copy of the original. The pages are bleached white, whereas my original book has pages that have a soothing slightly yellow tint to them. The new book's print is so faded and faint that I had to get my reading glasses to be able to see the words comfortably. I sent the book to her, anyway. I hope she is not as picky as I am with the ease of readability that a book should have. I did not tell her that my copy has much darker print that is much easier on the eyes. ...

    Excellent reference material for thourough bible study.

    This book gives you concise information on every book of the Bible without extraneous stuff you don't really need. The most important info, for me, was (1) who wrote the book and (2) what subjects the book was about. All at an extremely low price. Everyone who reads and studies the KJV bible needs this as a reference to better understand the circumstances in which the particular book covers and how that info relates to the previous and subsequent books.
