    Can't beat it for the money

    I've used Behringer, Mackie, and now this Yamaha mixer. The Mackie is fine but it doesn't have a mid range equalizer. (I have that hooked up to my laptop.) The Behringer mixer lasted 1 month before zonking out (I awoke one morning...to the sound of thunder. But it wasn't Bob Seger's night moves; it was the Behringer mixer going bonkers. It was hooked up to my TV and a pair of Klipsch 2.1 Promedia speakers and it was emitting an ear splitting, piercing, rumbling sound.) I unplugged it and that stopped the ear splitting sound, but afterwards there was a hissing/noisy sound coming out of both speakers so it was time to send it back. I got this Yamaha to replace the Behringer. What a difference. First of all the Yamaha has a sophisticated one knob compression feature, along with a hi/mid/low ...

    Great value in a mixer.

    It is a quality piece of equipment, solid in every way. This was in addition to the MG60 we already had and has a simple interface with great instructions for setup. We specifically chose the model without effects since it will only be used for vocal duty.
