Best unit I could find anywhere!
I had two different external cd/dvd drives before this one. I had to get a refund for both. The first (from a well known PC store) had huge quantities of software to download and then it required me to purchase more operating software if I wanted to use it more than a month! It didn't say anything about that on the box! The second was a Lenovo unit (the same make as my Laptop this time) sold through another well known online trading company beginning with 'A'. This unit was made before 2013 and did not mention that it was not supported by Windows 10, so although 'new' was already obsolete. It therefore could not work. Refund two. This time I decided to get some advice, I wanted a Lenovo unit as I thought this would help with compatibility with my Laptop. The company that sold me the previous unit even recommended the newer LENOVO THINKPAD ULTRASLIM USB DVD BURNER 4XA0E97775. I could not find this unit less than £48 anywhere until I saw it on eBay. At £29.99, this was best value for any LENOVO THINKPAD ULTRASLIM USB DVD BURNER 4XA0E97775 anywhere. I like the cables that come with the unit for any connection required. I especially like the way the only connecting cable I need folds very neatly away in the unit when not in use, tidy, smart, modern. Complete compatibility with my, and I expect, most other computers. I have not found anything detrimental or bad to say about this purchase.

the best DVD CD burner player, placed at position of number one is the best in its class. It is also extremely lightweight with great features
the item is amazing due to its ease-of-use, number one in the position of top of its range as they external Slim DVD CD burner player. It arrived one to 2 days earlier than the postal date in the cases which, is superb and excellence on behalf the Seller.

A little flimsy
You expect a DVD drive to read and write discs first and foremost and this drive does it well. It also looks good next to a ThinkPad laptop. The only thing is that once you open the tray it does not have that high-quality robust feel to it. More of a cheapo Shenzhen market, may-stop-working-anytime knockoff quality. Do like the way the USB cable folds in half and hides inside the enclosure thou.

Does exactly what you need
This plug and play accessory is a great upgrade for your modern laptop that comes without a D:drive fitted. Just plug it in to one of the USB slots and it’s ready to use after a couple of seconds, once the system downloads and installs the appropriate drivers. It’s that simple.
