An older book but still fascinating and relevant
I am a Car Guy and an engineer. I love this book! Dave McLellan pulls no punches in the story of the Vette, either good or bad. An honest history of the Corvette complete with the tech challenges and internal GM politics from the C1 (1953) through the C5 (2000's). Although dated, it is nonetheless fascinating. The author explains the technical (and political) challenges in understandable fashion, keeping the story interesting and not bogged down by details. Corvette from the inside is great book to read

Great info from the inside of the Corvette team
Dave Mclellan is a very knowledgeable automotive engineer. I like the insight that only someone on the inside of the GM structure can give. He gives a point of view that shows what goes on behind the scenes to get a Corvette from the conception phase to the dealers showroom.
