One of the quintessential bands to emerge from the San Francisco music scene in the 60's, Quicksilver Messenger Service captures that sound on their self titled, debut album. "The Fool", is my favorite track on the album, but all 6 tracks are good with lots of John Cipollina's guitar playing. Another highlight is "Dino's Song" which was written by founding member Dino Valenti, but who does not appear on the album because he had been busted for "grass".
