Don't follow directions for a good fit
I purchased the Wilson Mouth Guards thinking that they would fit as well as the Rawlings brand. They don't.
These definitely have to be put into very hot water for you to achieve a good fit. The problem is that when you follow the directions and take the mouth guard out of the previously boiling water, it has become so soft and has lost its shape, that you will be fishing in the pan of too hot water for a clear, shinny like worm creature instead of a mouth shaped, mouth guard.
I suggest not bringing the water to a full boil and leaving the mouth guard in the water for less than 30 seconds. If you have something other than a spoon to take the mouth guard out with, or better something that the mouth guard can sit in whilst you keep it in the hot water, that would be better.
It appears that I am not the only person who has had this problem, as I have seen on another selling site it pictured there.
I have not tried putting the mouth guard in cooler water and for a shorter time, say maybe 20 seconds yet, but I plan to soon.
